The aims of the training programs in Gastroenterology and Hepatology are to advance the understanding, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the gastrointestinal and liver organs. Upon completion of the training experiences, trainees will have the clinical, investigative, and teaching skills necessary to take a leading role in academic and clinical gastroenterology.
